RuneHQ November Event #3

The time, has now come. Face your worst nightmares and travel through portals that promise to take you one place but which may really send you somewhere totally different. Come face to face with a Bronze dragon when you really just wanted to fight a Dust Devil. Get mobbed by skeletons in multi combat or slammed by a Black Demon when all you wanted to do was talk to the Earth Guardians. It's chaos down there, nothing ever goes to plan and death in inevitable for the weak and faint-hearted.

Yes, It's time now to enter the Wilderness and make your way into the most terrifying dungeon of them all, The Chaos Tunnels. So then you ask yourself, how am I going to survive this onslaught of monsters? Carry on reading the text and information below to see how to do just that.

• Date: Saturday, November 28th (P2P)
• World: 60 (P2P)
• Time: 1pm CST, 7pm GMT

• Items recommended: Good armour and weapons to defeat the type of monsters you want to battle. Good food, prayer potions are absolutely essential, teleport runes or glory amulet or tele tab. Also, bring the appropriate gear requirements if you intend to fight slayer task monsters.

Special addition to the event:

In a first ever for the Events Team. We will be simultaneously running a broadcast on RuneHQ radio. Not just the normal stuff you hear every day, but to make the experience all the more atmospheric, we will be playing totally epic themes from some of the biggest movies of all time to enhance your playing time in the Dungeon. From epics like Lord of the Rings, Star wars, Terminator, Starship Troopers and Van Helsing to some of the more scary creepy tracks like Nightmare on Elm Street, Jaws and Psycho to name but a few.

With tons of great tracks all lined up and ready to go it's going to be a really Epic night. So make sure you don't miss the event and be sure to tune into RunehQ radio at the same time. (Actual station and a link will be advised later in the week so be sure to check back here)

RuneHQ Radio Interviews

Today we are proud to announce the release of another new feature to give you a deeper look into who the people are that you are playing RuneScape with. It's our new Radio Interviews! What's great about these over other interviews you may have read in the past is simply that you don't need to read anything at all. Choose who you'd like to listen to, click play, and then hop on RuneScape or the RuneHQ Forums while enjoying the speech. Over time we'll be interviewing as many people as we can. From high-leveled RuneScape players to famous event organizers, RuneHQ Staff to normal members, we hope this will be something everyone can enjoy. We already have three rather interesting interviews available for everyone to enjoy with many more either planned or in the works. Keep checking back often for new interviews or follow our Radio Twitter to never miss the latest Radio updates.

Our newest interviews will only be streamed live on the RuneHQ Radio at random times for the first week or two. After this time, they will then be put on the interview page for everyone who may have missed it or who just wants to listen again. We have a new interviewee for everyone to enjoy streaming live at 6pm CST (GMT-6) on Saturday, November 14 (that's the same as 12am GMT on Sunday, November 15). It's a rather interesting one with RuneHQ's Kittyhawk talking to Canada Grrl, the leader of the popular penguin clan chats! Make sure to tune in and afterward provide us with some feedback by posting on our Forums.

RuneHQ November Event #1

Well, this month we're going to be starting our events off with a bang. But what kind of bang are we talking about exactly?

Is it the sound made when a red chinchompa explodes in your face?... Nope, definitely not.
Well what about the sound when you fall a couple of stories at an agility course?... Not quite.
Could it be the sound of armor clashing together in a vicious battle?... That sounds about right.

But rather than just going to a massive multiplayer mini-game, we will be fighting the way true warriors do, man to man. Of course, there is no better place to do so than the Duel Arena, found just on the outskirts of the desert on the East side of Al Kharid. We'll be holding the event for both F2P and P2P players, and will be doing tournaments if enough people are interested (P2P only). So invite your friends and show them who's boss. And if you're lucky you might be able to defeat some of RuneHQ's staff (not really!).

• Date: Saturday, November 7th (F2P) and Sunday, November 8th (P2P)
• World: 55 (F2P), 60 (P2P)
• Time: 1pm CST, 7pm GMT
• Meeting place: Duel Arena Hospital

• Items required: None. This is a safe mini-game unless you stake items before a battle. You will lose anything you stake if you lose the battle.
• Items recommended: Good armour and weapons, potions, and anything else you need to defeat opponents. Also bring money if you'll be doing staked duels.
