Start Point:
Myreque base camp, Burgh de Rott.
To Start:
Speak with Veliaf.
Instructions:
  1. Make your way to Burgh de Rott and speak to Veliaf Hurtz in the basement of the inn. He will tell you that the next stage of the mission will involve the Sanquinesti region and that you will also be involved in a diplomatic mission to Misthalin to secure allies to fight against Draken. Your first task is to find a way into the Sanquinesti region, since the route is blocked by a high wall.

    Step 1

  2. Head southeast from the inn until you find a house with a boat. Search the boat and you will find that it is broken. Use a plank on the boat and you will repair it.

    Step 2

  3. You will now have to repair the boat chute too. Use your remaining plank and nails to repair it. When you have done this, push the boat down the slipway and then board it.

    Step 3

  4. You will arrive close to the Sanquinesti wall. Jump onto the nearby rock and then climb up. Walk along the wall until you reach a spot where it says the planks creak. Examine them and it will say they look weak. Kick in the floorboards, climb down, and then climb over some wall rubble. Remember where this is, since you will be returning here often.

  5. Speak to a citizen (whisper) about the Myreque. Ask what you can do for them. The citizen will eventually tell you to speak to Old man Ral. Ask him to introduce you to the Old man Ral. If you don't Ral will not help you on your quest.

    Step 5

  6. Old Man Ral will be on the ground floor of a house not too far from the west wall, just north of Trader Sven.

  7. Speak to him, and tell him that you have been told he can help. Continue the conversation by saying he is the sage of Sanguinesti. He will tell you the Myreque are hidden in sector 3 and that you should follow the symbols to get to them. Speak to Old man Ral again, asking him to help you, and he will tell you the symbols to follow are the symbols of the Myreque, the silver sickle.

    Step 7

  8. Walk southwest from Old man Ral to a building with a ladder going up. Climb the ladder.

  9. You will see a gap slightly to the southeast. Right click on the opposite side of the gap and select "Jump to floorboards". Now do the same thing for the east gap. Walk a little north and you will see a sickle logo on the north side of the wall. Push the wall to the right of this sickle and walk across the resulting floor.

  10. Crawl under the wall near you and then walk north. Push the wall on the west side of the room, to the right of another sickle symbol, and walk across.

  11. Climb down the ladder and you will be in a locked building. Search the table to the northwest and you will find a trapdoor. Open the trapdoor table and climb into the trapdoor tunnel.

  12. You will appear in another room. To the northwest there are shelves next to a sickle symbol. Climb up these shelves.

  13. Crawl under the wall to the east and then jump east across the floorboards.

  14. Climb down the ladder. Walk east and search the pots under the sickle symbol and you will find a key. Use the the key on the door to the east and the key will become stuck in the lock. You can now open the door.

  15. Walk east and climb up the ladder. Jump across the floorboards to the south, then walk a little southeast and climb up the shelves.

  16. Climb up the ladder in this room and then jump south. Climb down the ladder here.

  17. Go east, walk across the washing line, and then climb down the ladder.

  18. Push the north wall and walk across the floor. Climb up the shelves, go to the northeast side of the room, and then climb down the shelves there.

  19. Jump to the floorboards to the north, then jump to the floorboards to the north again. Continue walking north as far as you can and then jump to the floorboards to the east.

  20. The ladder going down here is broken. Climb up the other ladder and search the west wall. You will find the topmost part of the ladder. Climb back down the ladder and then use the ladder top on the broken ladder. Climb down the repaired ladder. You will now be in sector 3.

  21. Walk northwest, open the door of the building with a ladder in it, leave the building to the north, and then enter the next building to the north that has a ladder in it. Climb up this ladder, jump east, and then climb down the stairs. (Note: If you see a knife in the room with the ladder then it is the wrong ladder.)

  22. Walk southeast and then search the south wall. Use your knife or sickle on it to unhook the latch. Push the wall and go through.

  23. There is a decorated wall to the north. Search the decorated wall and then press it. You will hear a click. Now open the lumpy rug in the center. Climb down the trapdoor that appears.

  24. Walk north and you will find Vertida Sefalatis. Vertida will give you a message to deliver to Veliaf. Take this opportunity to collect some spare papyrus by searching the boxes if you don't have some already.

  25. Return to Veliaf in the basement of the pub in Burgh de Rott. Tell him you have a message for him from Vertida. He will tell you there is disturbing news from Paterdomus which needs to be investigated, and will tell you to speak to Drezel about it. Ask him what to do about the vampyres and he will suggest speaking to King Roald to see if Misthalin will come to Morytania's aid.

  26. Make your way to Drezel in the basement of the temple, west of Canifis. Speak to Drezel and he will ask you to investigate some strange noises around the temple.

    Note: The easiest way to reach the temple is by using a Lumberyard teleport scroll and then walk east into the forest. Alternatively, you may use the Fairy Ring code C-K-S.

    Step 26

  27. Head back to the ladder you entered by, exit, and then go search the bushes to the southwest of the steps leading to the temple. You will see an unconscious body followed by a small cut screen with shadowy figures who knock you out, pick up the body, and take it away.

  28. Report back to Drezel. He will give you teleport runes to get to Varrock so you can speak to King Roald urgently.

  29. Teleport and speak to Roald in Varrock castle. You will have a long conversation with Roald and his advisor. The advisor will then offer a free teleport back to Drezel. Accept, speak to Drezel , and then make your way back to Burgh de Rott.

    Step 30

  30. Speak to Veliaf Hurtz in the basement of the inn again and he will send you off to speak to Vertida Sefalatis.

  31. Make you way back using the same route as before. This time all the walls you pushed will be seen as a floor to walk over and the door you unlocked will still be unlocked.

    Optional: Get noticed by a Vyrewatch and ask to be taken to the mine. Once you get there, mine 15 Daeyalt ore and put in the cart. After you've done that ask a Juvenate Guard to be sent out again. Walk south until you find the house again. Once you're down the trapdoor, head over to Vertida again.

  32. Once you have spoken to the Sanquinesti Myreque for the second time, Vertida will send you to find another member of the Myreque, Safalaan. Keep speaking to Vertida and he will offer to transport you back to the where you started your journey in Meiyerditch as he is travelling that way himself. Accept this offer. Go back to where you arrived by boat, climb on top of the wall, and then travel north.

  33. The path ends at a ladder going down. Go down it and you will see a barricade. Search the rocky surface to the east near the barricade and you will find a switch. Go through the barricade and then continue north.

  34. When you reach the next barricade climb the ladder and continue north. Cross over a gap by going up one ladder and down another, and then go all the way north along the wall until you reach Safalaan.

  35. Talk to him and he will ask you to complete his task of sketching the castle from three angles. He will give you 3 papyrus and a piece of charcoal.

    Step 36

  36. Head west and continue along the wall past two sickle logos, then stand on the third one on the north wall and sketch the castle. Do this by using the charcoal with some papyrus.

    Step 37

  37. Go back the way you came to the sickle logo you passed on the west of the castle. Sketch the castle again and you will get a cutscene.

    Step 38

  38. Go to the last sickle sign on the south wall and sketch again. This time after the cut scene you will be attacked by Vanstrom Klause. You can't win and will fall after a few moments.

    Step 39

  39. When you wake up a woman named Sarius Guile will be speak to you. She will give you cryptic instructions on how to find her message to Safalaan. You have to go complete the third sketch before you go.

    Step 40

  40. Once this is done, head back to the Myreque base. The quickest route would be to be sent to the mines as mentioned earlier. Give the sketches to Safalaan and he will tell you to search for the message.

  41. Leave the hideout and climb up the stairs in the next room to the north. Jump onto the floorboards to the west and descend the ladder. Leave the house and enter the one with a ladder to the southwest.

  42. Use the knife on the painting to get the key, then use the knife on the chimney to pull a tile loose to get the message. Return to the Safalaan and give him the message. He will tell you to find the lab mentioned in the message.

  43. Go back out into sector 3 and then head far northeast. Find a building with an ornate tapestry, near the castle wall to the east. Use the knife on the tapestry, go through, and then use the key with the vampire statue.

  44. Go through the door that appears on the wall and then go down the staircase. You will now be in the lab. Telegrab the book and return to Safalaan. If you do not have telegrab runes, you can find them in the broken rune case.

  45. He will give you a sealed letter and a shortcut key to get through the doors between sectors 1, 2, and 3. Take the letter to Veliaf.
