Used to reduce weight - by 4.5 kg (equipped) and 0.3 kg (in inventory).

Must have a light source and sharp object to obtain the boots. Despite being necessary for completion of Temple of Ikov, is NOT required to obtain the boots.
After completion of the associated quest, if you have unlocked the entire Hub track, this item can be retrieved from the Quest Item Storage chest at the Quest Point Caravan if lost or destroyed. Otherwise, a new one can be obtained from the basement.
The entire reason to keep these boots is their weight reducing properties. They are fantastic for training Runecrafting and Agility or for participating in any activity that requires large amounts of running: Guthixian Caches, Familiarisation, and Shifting Tombs as examples.
