When you enter into the Wyvern area you will need to immediately light all 5 unlit fires in the cave or you will suffer additional damages from the Wyverns(These will go out and will need to be relit eventually). Wyverns have a poisonous breath attack which can't be fully countered by any Antipoison items or auras the damage will be halfed while using them. Prayer protection skills are strongly recommended while fighting Wyverns. Wyverns also require level 96 Slayer.

The chance of receiving better drops is increased by the Ring of fortune, Enhanced luck potion, Collector's insignia (charged), or Luck of the dwarves.
