Notes:
The Chaos Elemental is the strongest monster found in the Wilderness and it is highly recommended that you only attempt to fight it with items you are willing to lose due to the risk of encountering Player Killers and the difficulty of getting back to your items if the Chaos Elemental itself kills you due to its remote location.
This being said, it is recommended to wear Royal d'hide equipment and use a Crystal bow as the armor is cheap while still providing decent protection and a Crystal bow is effective against the Chaos Elemental and doesn't require you to risk losing your ammunition if you die.
The Chaos Elemental's main attack looks like orbs of random color which randomly deals Magic, Melee or Ranged damage. However, Magic appears to be the most frequent type of damage and so it is recommended to use Protect From/Deflect Magic to limit damage, or if your armor provides sufficient Magic defence then Protect From Ranged may be preferred.
In addition to this attack, it also has two special attacks. One looks three orbs colored red, blue and green and will unequip your weapon and armor if you have space in your inventory. The second looks like two red orbs and will teleport you a short distance away.
The chance of receiving better drops is increased by the Ring of wealth, Luck potion, Collector's insignia, Leprechaun hat or Luck of the dwarves.
