Capes of Accomplishment (Skillcapes):

The Cape of Accomplishment (Skillcape) or, as it was originally named, Cape Of Achievement, is a true accomplishment to be proud of. It's challenging but, in the end, the reward is a trophy of your excellence and experience in that certain skill (or quests).

You need a skill level of 99 to obtain a skillcape and once worn they give a temporary level boost (to 100). While wearing the skillcape, you have the ability to perform a special skill-related emote. They cost 99,000 Coins and if you lose it you must pay this fee again.

Trimmed Skillcapes:

For a skillcape to be trimmed, you need to have at least 2 level 99 skills. Once you buy your second skillcape, your other skillcape and your new one will auto-trim themselves.

Master Capes:

To obtain a Master Cape, you must reach level 120 in a skill (or 104,273,167 experience). While wearing a master cape you will be able to perform the same emote as the normal skillcape. They cost 120,000 Coins and if you lose it you must pay this fee again.

Quest Point Cape:

Once you have all quests completed, speak to the Wise Old Man at his house in Draynor Village to get it for 99,000 Coins. If you lose it, you must pay for a new one. The Quest point cape and hood will become unwearable until you have completed the lastest quest.



Note: The Quest point cape cannot be trimmed.

Dungeoneering		Thok, Master of Dungeoneering in Daemonheim. At true skill mastery (level 120) you can obtain the Dungeoneering master cape from him.
Farming		Martin the Master Gardener at the Draynor Village market
Firemaking		Ignatius Vulcan in the forest south of Seers' Village.
Fishing		Master Fisher outside the Fishing Guild.
Fletching		Hickton at the archery shop in Catherby.
Herblore		Kaqemeex at the Guthix Altar in Taverley.
Hunter		Hunting Expert in her small hut south of the Feldip Hills.
Invention		Bought from Doc in the Invention Guild found north of Falador
Magic		Robe Store Owner on the second floor of the Magic Guild.
Mining		Dwarf at the entrance of Mining Guild, in the south-eastern part of Falador.
Prayer		Brother Jered on the second floor of the Prayer Guild (Monastery).
Ranged		Armour salesman at the Ranging Guild.
Runecrafting		Larriar at the Runecrafting Guild.
Slayer		Kuradal on the second floor of the Second Ancient Cavern.
Smithing		Thurgo in his hut south of Port Sarim.
Strength		Sloane on the second floor of the Warrior's Guild.
Summoning		Pikkupstix at his Summoning shop in Taverley.
Thieving		Martin Thwait at his Lost and Found shop in the Rogues' Den. (Note: You can enter the Rogues' Den through the trapdoor at Toad and Chicken Pub in Burthorpe.)

Expert Skillcapes:

Expert skillcapes are made from shards found while training a skill at level 99. Each skill class (Combat, Gathering, Support and Artisan) has its own cape which allows the wearer to show that they have mastered multiple skills.

Capes of Distinction:

On May 3rd, 2011, Jagex released a wide range of capes to further promote in-game accomplishments. These, along with the Skillcapes, are a great way to proudly display your hard-earned achievements.

Veteran cape		You can buy either the 5 Year cape from Hans in Lumbridge for 50,000 Coins after you have played RuneScape for 5 or more years, the 10 Year cape for 100k if you've played for 10 years, or the 15 year cape for 150k
Classic cape		You can buy this cape from Iffie at Thessalia's Fine Clothing store in Varrock for 50,000 Coins after you have visited RuneScape Classic.
Milestone cape (10)		You need level 10 in all skills to wear this cape. Use one ball of wool on a loom to create your own.
Milestone cape (20)		You need level 20 in all skills to wear this cape. Use two balls of wool on a loom to create your own.
Milestone cape (30)		You need level 30 in all skills to wear this cape. Use three balls of wool on a loom to create your own.
Milestone cape (40)		You need level 40 in all skills to wear this cape. Use four balls of wool on a loom to create your own.
Milestone cape (50)		You need level 50 in all skills to wear this cape. Use five balls of wool on a loom to create your own.
Milestone cape (60)		You need level 60 in all skills to wear this cape. Use six balls of wool on a loom to create your own.
Milestone cape (70)		You need level 70 in all skills to wear this cape. Use seven balls of wool on a loom to create your own.
Milestone cape (80)		You need level 80 in all skills to wear this cape. Use eight balls of wool on a loom to create your own.

Max cape		You can buy this cape from Max in Varrock for 2,574,000 Coins after you have level 99 in all skills.

Emotes:

As well of all the other aspects of the skillcape, it also carries the ability for the wearer to perform an emote, 1 per skillcape. To access this emote simply go to your emotes screen and click the "Skillcape-emote".
