It is recommended to wait until 90 Necromancy before creating Greater ensouled cloths. This is because you will gain access to the entire Ritual site at this point and can use potions (Necromancy or Overload) to boost for Mulpiply III glyphs. Using as many of this glyph as possible will enable you to get 40 Greater ensouled cloths using 10 Subjugation pieces. Note that this can be reduced to 8 pieces if you are 99 Necromancy and use the perk.
